How do I navigate the FastEstimate dashboard?

The FastEstimate dashboard is designed to walk you through the estimate step by step. Here’s a tour of the main areas.

Header information bar

At the very top of FastEstimate you’ll find the claim information section — claim number, property address, and adjuster name — along with quick access links to:

• The SeekNow inspection report for this claim.
• The aerial measurement report for this property.
  
  Main layout
• The dashboard is divided into three main areas:
• Left navigation panel — lists every structure on the property and the sections within each one.
• Center work area — displays the roof diagram or exterior view, damage indicators, and the repair / replacement options and line items for the section you’re working on.

• Right panel (“Your Scope”) — a shopping-cart style summary of every selection you’ve made so far.

  Using the left navigation panel

• The left navigation panel is your primary way to move through the estimate.

  Structure navigation

• Each structure (e.g., “House,” “Detached Garage”) appears as a collapsible section.
• Click a structure name to expand it and see the sections inside.

• The structure you’re currently viewing appears in green text. Structures you’ve already visited are marked with a green circle.

  Section navigation

• Inside each structure you’ll see:
• Roof — for roof damage and repairs.
• Exterior - Front — the front elevation.
• Exterior - Right — the right elevation.
• Exterior - Back — the back elevation.
• Exterior - Left — the left elevation.

• You can click any section to jump to it directly, or use the “Next” and “Previous” buttons at the bottom of the work area to step through them in order.

  Visual progress indicators

• Green-bordered circle: Your current section, or a section you’ve visited but haven’t made selections in.
• Green circle with checkmark: A section where you’ve made repair or replace selections.

• Large green circle: Appears next to a structure name once at least one selection has been made under that structure.

  Structure selection

• On some claims, FastEstimate needs your help matching the structures from the on-site inspection (e.g., “Main House,” “Detached Garage”) to the aerial measurement models available for the property. When that’s the case, you’ll see a Structure Selection screen before the main estimating workspace.
• On this screen you’ll see a bird’s-eye view of every available aerial measurement model along with a compass for orientation. Pick the model that best matches each structure and confirm to continue.
