FastEstimate looks at a few different factors when generating its recommendations for a claim:
- Damage extent and type — the number of damaged shingles (hail, wind, tree, or other) and the location and pattern of damage.
- Carrier guidelines, when available. If carrier-specific guidelines aren’t configured for your account, FastEstimate falls back to standard SeekNow guidelines.
For example: if an inspected roof has more than 10 hail hits per test square on every slope, and the carrier’s guidelines say a roof with that level of damage should be replaced, you’ll see “Replace Roof” in the “Recommended” section of FastEstimate.
