How do I read the exterior details and diagram?

The Exterior section helps you build comprehensive estimates for elevation damage. For each elevation, FastEstimate shows you two things: the Exterior Snapshot and the interactive 3D Exterior Diagram.

Elevation navigation

At the top of the Exterior section you’ll see a tab for each elevation — Front, Right, Back, and Left. Click any tab to view that elevation’s details and write the estimate for it. The active tab is shown with a thick green border.

Exterior Snapshot

The Exterior Snapshot lives on the center-left of the screen and lists each elevation’s components and damage as recorded by our Seeker. Information includes:

• Gutters (style, material, size)
• Gutter protection (type and material)
• Downspouts (style, material, size)
• Soffit and fascia
• Siding (style, material, size)
• Windows and doors

Any damage detected on these components is also called out here.

Interactive Exterior Diagram

The 3D exterior diagram in the center of the screen lets you see the building’s exterior walls and components. You can rotate the view to look at any side of the structure, and the diagram automatically rotates to the elevation you’ve selected when you click between tabs.
